GrilloHiggins is proud to announce three internal promotions, effective from 1 July 2020. The elevations include:
- Ashleigh Le’s elevation to Special Counsel. Ashleigh joined GrilloHiggins in September 2019, following her role as General Counsel at Sushi Sushi where she oversaw its acquisition by private equity. Prior to that, Ashleigh was a Senior Associate in the Corporate team at a national law firm. Ashleigh’s practice has a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions in the retail, distribution and health industries;
- Tom Sapountsis’s elevation to Senior Associate. Tom joined GrilloHiggins in June 2019, following his role at a Melbourne based boutique corporate law firm. Tom advises on a range of corporate and commercial matters with a focus on capital markets, and acts as company secretary of our ASX listed clients; and
- Harry Pratt’s elevation to Associate. Harry started his legal career at GrilloHiggins in 2016, and has become an integral part of developing the firm. Harry’s involvement on a broad range of commercial transactions and corporate governance support for the firm’s ASX listed clients has provided him with extensive exposure to the corporate legal world.
These elevations follow the appointment of David Woodford as Partner in November 2019 and the opening of the firm’s Perth office in February 2020.
Partner Alfonso Grillo said, “These internal promotions reflect the contributions made by these lawyers and our team generally as we continue to grow our firm and develop the careers of our lawyers. These elevations also reflect our growing profile in mergers & acquisitions and equity capital markets across Australia, and the increasing transactional experience of our team.”
