David has broad experience and expertise in corporate and commercial law. David has advised clients on a range of equity capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions and commercial matters. David acts for private companies and publicly listed companies, high net worth individuals, start-ups, SMEs and not-for-profits in a variety of industries such as energy and resources, retail, financial services, property development and health.

David enjoys watching a range of sports, keeping fit and spending time with family and friends. He is a keen supporter of the Geelong Cats and the Portland Trailblazers in the NBA. David is also a member of the Governance Institute of Australia and is a regular presenter on a range of topics as part of the Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance course.
David was also listed in Best Lawyers of Australia 2023 to 2027 Editions for Equity Capital Markets, and 2025 to 2027 Editions for Corporate / Governance Practice.
David has previously acted as company secretary for ASX listed companies.
